Choosing the right workplace benefits can help you address your health care expenses. At Mauser, we want to help you understand your options, so that you are well-planned and well protected. The “Understanding Your Benefits” series provides general information to help you make more informed decisions regarding your benefit elections during Open Enrollment.
*The following information applies to U.S employees eligible for Mauser Packaging Solutions benefits. Disregard this communication if you are an employee located outside of the United States or otherwise ineligible for these benefits.

Alight, Mauser’s Benefits Portal, is your online access point for information and resources regarding your healthcare benefits. Get familiarized with the Mauser Benefits Portal to make the most of your benefits – log in throughout the year to discover all the ways it can help you and your family.

Mauser’s Benefits Portal (Alight) is your easy-to-use enrollment site for electing benefits as a new hire, during annual Open Enrollment, or following a qualifying life event.* While most employees only utilize the Mauser Benefits Portal for enrollment, the portal is your year-round resource for important information on your benefits. Log in any time to:

  • View your Elections Summary
  • Learn about benefits & coverage details
  • Access the Document Library for insurance carrier brochures, flyers, etc.
  • Submit a Qualifying Life Event (QLE)
  • Change your HSA contribution
  • View/Print your 1095-C tax form
  • And much more!

Whether you want to learn more about your benefits and their features, make a change, verify coverage, or update your beneficiaries, the Mauser Benefits Portal can help you utilize your benefits efficiently. Take time to explore the portal to discover the tools and resources available to you.

To access the portal, visit http://digital.alight.com/mauserpackaging, or download the Alight Mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play (or scan QR code below). Log in using your credentials or choose the “New User?” link to set up your account if logging in for the first time (full instructions for first time user available below). During Open Enrollment, the dashboard displays a button to start your enrollment or you can use the "Need Help?" icon to schedule an appointment.

Instructions for first time users of the Mauser Benefits Portal:

  • The first-time logging in, choose the “New User?” link
  • Identify yourself using the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number and Date of Birth
  • Establish your security questions and answers (choose 5)
  • Create a User ID (must be at least 8 characters long and is not case sensitive)
  • Create a Password (must be at least 10 characters long and contain 3 out of 4 of the following: a capital letter, lower case letter, number, and special character)
  • Retain your Username and Password for future logins. If logging in from an unknown device, you may be asked to answer your security questions
*A Qualifying Life Event is a change in circumstances which creates a limited period of time during which benefit elections can be modified outside of annual Open Enrollment. Qualifying Life Events include events such as marriage or divorce, birth or adoption of a child, Medicare eligibility, death of a covered dependent, and loss of coverage elsewhere.
