Mauser Asia Reaches a Significant Safety Milestone

After extensive dedication and collaboration across multiple countries, Mauser Asia has completed one full year without a single accident across all sites. This milestone marks a first in Mauser Asia’s history and reflects the strong commitment to safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Mauser Asia has achieved steady improvement in safety over the past few years to reach this milestone. Operations Director Asia, Kamel Ouarem credits this accomplishment to a commitment to basic safety principles across all facilities and a strong commitment to safety communications and training supported by plant managers through weekly meetings, performance reviews, and team celebrations. “We went back to the basics of safety by maintaining a strong level of 5S, respecting proper PPE usage, conducting regular shopfloor audits, increasing communication, and applying safety discipline every day,” commented Kamel.

Additionally, the Asia region has invested in new tools and equipment – such as safety fences, loading systems, light curtains and forklift safety lights – to provide the infrastructure that supports a safe working environment.

To commemorate this milestone, employees across all manufacturing sites in the region held celebrations during the Chinese New Year period, welcoming the Year of the Horse and recognizing the dedication of all teams who contributed to this success.

Congratulations to our Mauser Asia facilities for this outstanding accomplishment!
