Starting in 2026, Mauser Packaging Solutions will transition to a new prescription drug plan managed by US-Rx Care. Known for its extensive pharmacy network and cost-saving programs, US-Rx Care is dedicated to helping you reduce your prescription expenses while ensuring high-quality care.
Employees enrolled in either Mauser 2026 medical plan, the HSP/HSA or PPO, will receive prescription drug coverage through US-Rx Care starting January 1. As part of this transition, all employees covered under a Mauser medical plan will receive a new health insurance card. This card should be used for all medical services, including prescriptions.
We encourage all employees who use prescription drug coverage to review the Pharmacy Benefits Guide for complete information and instructions on getting the most out of your pharmacy benefit.

What should you do NOW to prepare for the transition to US-Rx Care:
- Re-fill any pre-existing prescriptions, both mail order and retail, under the current plan (Optum Rx) prior to the end of the year
This ensures you have enough time at the start of the year to share your new pharmacy benefit information and complete any required pre-authorizations without delaying your next refill. - Provide your new health insurance card to your pharmacy.
Doing this early allows your pharmacy to update your information and gives you time to confirm that your pharmacy is part of US-Rx Care’s extensive network.
- Request Refills for Mail-Order Prescriptions
Contact your doctor as soon as possible to request refills for all your mail order prescriptions. Ensure that you have at least two refills remaining on each medication. This will allow you to refill your prescriptions in December and still have one refill available for transfer. Mail order prescriptions that are not controlled substances will transfer to your new mail order pharmacy if there are at least two (2) refills remaining. - Register for mail order
Prescription Mart is the contracted mail order pharmacy for US-Rx Care. Participants in the mail order program must set up an account and register for mail order at presmartinc.com. All mail order management including payment and shipping details is managed through Prescription Mart. - Review the Pharmacy Benefits Guide for complete information and instructions on getting the most out of your pharmacy benefit.
Want to save money on prescriptions? US-Rx Care can help!
- Find the lowest cost pharmacies
Use the US-Rx Care website to look up the lowest cost pharmacies in your areas for your specific drugs. The cheapest option may vary based on each prescription and costs may change at each location over time so check on a regular basis to ensure you are receiving the best price. Visit usrxcare.com/member and use the pharmacy search tool to find the lowest cost option in your area. - Share your plan’s zero cost co-pay and alternative medications lists (inclusive of specialty drug lists, formulary lists, ACA list) with your doctor.
Ask if there are alternatives on these lists for any prescriptions you are currently prescribed and if your doctor could prescribe a zero-co-pay option instead. These lists are available in the plan documents located on the US-Rx Care website under “Additional helpful Information for Pharmacy Benefit Navigation”. - Subscribe to Mail Order
Remember that mail order saves you money. Through mail order you can receive a three-month supply of medication for the same price as two-month of medication through a retail pharmacy. Follow two easy steps to set up your mail order prescriptions.- Create an account with Prescription Mart at presmartinc.com and add payment and shipping information so medication can be delivered to you.
- Have your doctor fax or e-prescribe your prescription to the mail order pharmacy.
