Having a conversation about mental health might be uncomfortable, but it can make all the difference. Regardless of the situation or circumstance, your willingness to start a conversation can help someone.

Being a good friend or colleague doesn’t require an instruction manual nor do you need to be a professional to know that they might need additional support. Don’t worry about finding the perfect words to say – there is no right or wrong, just be there and let them know they have your support.

Our mental health awareness video series will help take the awkward out of approaching the topic of mental health with a friend, co-worker or family member. Through this video series you will lean how to recognize the signs of someone struggling with mental health issues, gain tips for starting a conversation, learn how to follow-up and hear stories from people who have been on both sides of mental health conversations.
