(Mark Burgess, President and CEO of Mauser Packaging Solutions): There are many issues across Mauser that require my attention. Last week, I spent time in the Atlanta office with our IT and Payroll teams.
You may wonder “Why?”.
Well it’s because I’m embarrassed by the ongoing payroll issues and inefficiencies we’ve been experiencing. While we can’t be perfect in any function, you, all our employees, deserve better than what we have delivered to you in the last six months.
As such, I plan to work with payroll, HR and IT until we have a process and system that resolves the issues I just described.
Given the meeting that we had last week, I am confident we are moving in the right direction. We have plans to improve our communication, simplify our processes, upgrade our systems and skills to serve you as we should.
We also will invest in additional resources to help in this effort. You will be hearing more about both short-term and long-term actions we are taking to address inefficiencies in the coming days.
Thanks again for all you do at Mauser and I appreciate your patience as we improve important processes, like payroll, that will make our company a better and stronger one.
