Renewing Our Commitment to Safety

Michelle MachenMauser News, Safety

At Mauser Packaging Solutions, our dedicated workers are our biggest asset. It is our ethical responsibility to ensure that each employee goes home safe and unharmed, every day.

As our CEO, Mark Burgess, communicated earlier this week in his 2021 kick off message, we are issuing a revised a Global Health and Safety Policy that outlines the Company’s commitment to support safe decision making and actions across all business units. While we’ve made great strides in making workplaces safer, far too many incidents continue to occur that are avoidable. Whether it’s lax safeguards that expose employees to potential hazards, cutting corners on safety regulations to get the job done faster, or failing to invest in workplace safety training and prevention programs – negligence of employees’ health and safety is never acceptable.

The Global Health and Safety Policy is accessible by all employees on MauserNOW and should be printed and posted in a visible, high-trafficked location replacing any previous Health and Safety policies. Click here to access the Policy in eleven languages.

Being put in danger should never, and can never, be considered “just part of the job.” This is the principle we need our leaders and all employees to embrace and enforce.

Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the new Global Health and Safety Policy as you recommit yourself to safety in 2021.
