The European International Packaging and Reconditioning Sales teams met in Frankfurt, Germany on March 6-7 to align objectives, optimize bundled offerings, and identify collaboration opportunities. The meeting marked the first time this group, of 40, has met since the creation of Mauser Packaging Solutions.

Michael Steubing, International Packaging President, and Charles Veniez, Reconditioning President, began the meeting with a global update for their respective business units. Gerhard Obernosterer, International Packaging EMEA Vice President, and Ernest van den Boogerd, Head of EMEA Reconditioning, shared information on the current business situation in Europe and Africa.

During the meeting, the team discussed roadblocks, areas for improvements, and steps to increase cooperation at the local and regional levels. All in attendance agreed that collaboration among the team will help generate opportunities to expose customers to Mauser Packaging Solutions' complete product and service offerings. At the conclusion of the meeting, teams were assigned responsibility for identifying new opportunities with both existing and new customers based on the combined portfolio offerings available through MPS.

The meeting also included a site visit to the Bickenbach, Germany Reconditioning facility. This facility produces rebottled or washed IBCs and offers customized fleet management services on stainless steel totes for customers in Europe.

Urs Geisel, Head of Sales EMEA International, commented, "The European sales team meeting was a great networking opportunity. Team members were able to get to know each other as individuals and grow as one team." "The relationships formed during this meeting will further intensify collaboration between the sales teams to unlock additional added-values, that Mauser Packaging Solution can offer to our customers." added Andreas Schubert, Head of Sales & Marketing EMEA Reconditioning.
