Benefits eligible employees are encouraged to review all Open Enrollment resources and their current benefit elections to determine what elections should be made for 2026.

What’s Changing?

While many of the benefits offered remain unchanged for 2026, there are a few changes to be aware of as you prepare for Open Enrollment.

Benefits information and resource are available on the Open Enrollment MauserNOW page, the Mauser Benefits Portal, and the Alight Mobile App.

    Resources include:

    • 2026 Benefits Guide

    • Enrollment Instructions

These resources offer valuable insights to help you make informed decisions about your 2026 benefits.

    • New pharmacy benefits partner – US-Rx Care
Effective January 1, 2026, this change will provide high-quality service, a broad pharmacy network, and cost-saving programs to help you save on prescriptions. Employees are automatically enrolled in the prescription drug coverage when enrolled in either medical plan (HSP/HSA or PPO). Due to the change in vendor, there may be adjustments to pharmacy plan details and co-pay amounts.
    • New UnitedHealthcare ID cards
New UnitedHealthcare ID cards will be mailed to employee homes for 2026. New cards will include information for the new benefits partner – US-Rx Care.
    • New administrator for Vision Plan and Legal Plan – MetLife
This new partnership with Metlife aims to provide users with high quality services at reduced rates.
      • Vision Plan
You will find many of the same providers are still in network, there may be some changes, so call your provider before making your appointment in 2026. The coverage is the same, but your paycheck premium is lower.
      • Legal Plan
MetLife Legal offers more services and a lower premium for 2026. There is no cost to use network legal services. If you use an out-of-network provider for issues not specifically excluded from coverage, the plan also includes up to 10 hours per year based on a set fee schedule.
    • New global discount perks program – Mauser Packaging Solutions Savings Marketplace
Offered in addition to BenefitsHub, the Mauser Packaging Solutions Savings Marketplace provides discounts on theme parks, special events, travel, wellness, shopping and more products and services for your everyday needs.
    • Weight Management Support to Reverse Type 2 Diabetes – Virta
Virta offers eligible employees with type 2 diabetes access to a virtual clinic focused on weight loss and reversing type 2 diabetes. Receive personalized care from a medical team and health coach, testing supplies, and a mobile app. Available at no cost to PPO or HSP/HSA participants.
    • Changes to allowed providers for End-Stage Renal Disease and major organ transplant
Effective in 2026, all dialysis services related to the diagnosis and treatment of End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) must be provided by an in-network UnitedHealthcare provider. Out-of-network services will no longer be covered. Additionally, major organ transplant services must be performed at a designated Center of Excellence (COE) or treatment centers.
    • Amended IRS HSP/HSA deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums, HSA and FSA contribution limits, and changes to 401(k) catch up contribution rules
Annual IRS updates for HSP/HSA plans, HSA accounts and FSA accounts are reflected in Mauser’s 2026 benefits. Additionally, IRS changes to 401(k) catch-up contributions rules are reflected in Mauser’s 401(k) plan provided by Vanguard.
