The Indianapolis, Indiana (NASP-Plastics) facility achieved an outstanding safety milestone in July – 5,475 consecutive days, or 15 years, without a Lost Time Accident (LTA) – and celebrated with cookouts last week.
This accomplishment reflects the team's unwavering commitment to workplace safety and its goal of ensuring every employee returns home safely each day. Over the past 15 years, the plant has consistently built upon its strong safety culture through teamwork, accountability, and proactive corrective and preventive actions.
Safety remains a core value at the Indy plant, where employees actively participate in both corrective and preventive actions designed to reduce risks and eliminate potential hazards. Through continuous commitment and daily actions, the team has reinforced its goal of achieving and sustaining zero injuries across the facility.
Even while welcoming many new employees during 2025 and 2026, the Indy team remained focused on maintaining its high safety standards. New hires have quickly embraced the plant's safety-first mindset, actively supporting safety initiatives and contributing to the facility's continued success. Team members have successfully balanced ongoing operational improvements with comprehensive onboarding and training efforts, ensuring that safety remains a top priority for all employees.
