At Mauser Packaging Solutions, safety is a core value that is prioritized in every decision, every day. We are dedicated to the goal of having every employee return home safely each day. Achieving this goal demands both individual and collective commitment to creating a safer workplace every day.
Execution is essential to workplace safety. Every delay in reporting a hazard or implementing a corrective action leaves room for an incident or injury. Strong execution also shows our collective responsibility and respect for each other, reinforcing that safety is everyone’s job. By taking safety seriously in your daily actions, you help create a workplace where everyone goes home safe

Moving Safety Forward
No matter where we are on our safety journey, there is always room for improvement. It is important to remain focused not only on the established practices that help identify potential hazards and build our safety culture but also on finding ways to make every task safer.
At Mauser, we continue to work toward a culture where we address safety concerns and issues before they escalate into incidents. This involves integrating risk assessment into all systems and proactively identifying and eliminating potential problems.
Maintaining a safe workplace is a new challenge every day, every shift, every minute. While achieving our past safety goals has helped establish safe behaviors, it does not guarantee future success unless we remain steadfast in our commitment to safety in everything we do.
Roadway Safety
Roadway safety is the responsibility of all of us, not just the drivers who are on the road for work. Being safe behind the wheel encompasses a variety of behaviors including but not limited to following road safety rules and laws, avoiding distracted or impaired driving, being situationally aware, ensuring your vehicle is in safe, working order and always wearing a seat belt.
The same commitment we have to safety at work translates to roadway safety and when we are intentionally aware of our safety responsibilities then practicing safe behavior becomes second nature no matter where you are or what you are doing.
A commitment to safety does not end when you leave the facility. Safety is personal – so personal that impacts every aspect of life including your driving behavior.

Holistic Worker Health
While physical welfare and safety in the workplace is a leading interest and concern, the connection between the work environment and mental/emotional wellbeing is equally important – though often overlooked. It is easy to recognize how a workplace safety incident can have serious physical impact on an employee who experiences an injury. However, the mental and emotional impact of experiencing a safety incident or working in an unsafe environment can extend beyond a single employee or the time it takes to recover from a physical injury.
At Mauser Packaging Solutions, we are committed to providing a work environment that protects both physical and mental/emotional wellbeing of employees and those who work with us (contractors, visitors, our community). Additionally, access to the Company’s EAP programs, programs offered by your government healthcare systems, and additional local and community resources are available to help you manage through rough patches you and your household may experience. We encourage you to reach out and use the resources available to obtain assistance as needed.
Slips, Trip, and Falls
Slips, trips and falls were the second leading cause of workplace death in 2024 and the third leading cause of workplace injuries resulting in days away from work from 2023-2024 – a real safety threat. Falls can happen anywhere. Whether it’s working at heights or tripping on the same level, you always need to keep your eyes out for hazards.
The most common causes of slips, trips, and falls are floor contamination, objects obstructing walkways, floor irregularities or damage, inadequate lighting, weather conditions, stairs and railings, ladders and step stools, floor mats, and unprotected edges. Employees should be aware of these hazards and cautions when working in conditions that could result in trips, slips, and falls.
