Last month, the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Köln) hosted its annual “Zukunft Ausbildung” event in Cologne, Germany; one of the region’s leading platforms dedicated to advancing the future of vocational training.
The event brings together companies, educators, and industry leaders to celebrate innovation and excellence in dual apprenticeship programs, while recognizing individuals and organizations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to developing the next generation of skilled professionals. This focus is especially important in Germany and across Europe, where strong apprenticeship programs play a critical role in building a highly skilled workforce and supporting long-term economic success. This year’s event saw a record number of more than 260 nominations, underlining the significance of this recognition across the region.
We are proud to share that Mauser’s Ulrike Busch, Education & Recruiting Specialist - Germany, was selected as one of the top 20 apprenticeship mentors, an impressive achievement given the highly competitive field of nominees.
During the event, Ulrike was formally presented with a certificate honoring her exceptional contribution. This recognition highlights not only her personal dedication, but also the critical role that passionate mentors play in shaping talent and strengthening the future workforce.

Ulrike’s recognition also reflects Mauser’s broader strategic commitment to developing talent, investing in high-quality apprenticeship programs, and building a strong pipeline of skilled professionals to support our long-term growth.
Please join us in congratulating Ulrike and thanking her for her outstanding commitment, leadership, and impact on our apprenticeship programs.
