Personify Health iOS App Update – Action Required for iOS Users

Due to a recent update to the Personify Health App, iOS (Apple) users may need to manually update the app to restore full functionality. The fix is quick – all you need to do is visit the App Store and update your app to the latest version.

Who is impacted? Employees who participate in the Personify Health Wellness Program using the iOS Personify Health app.

Action Required: Employees who participate in the Personify Health Wellness Program using the iOS app, should follow the instructions below to manually install the latest update.

  1. Access the App Store via your device
  2. Search for “Personify Health”
  3. Click on the App Icon or Name to open the app page. Do not choose “Open” – this will open the app on your device.

Note: There may be multiple apps using the Personify icon. Choose the app named “Personify Health”.

  1. Select “Update”. The “Update” option will only be available if there is an update to be installed.
  2. Follow any additional prompts to approve and install the update on your device.

Once you have updated the app, all your data and progress will remain the same. You will be back in business as before – tracking progress, building healthy habits, and keeping your wellbeing momentum going.

Active users of the iOS Personify Health app may have received this notification via email from Personify Health. This is not a separate update requirement.

What happened? Apps are frequently updated to provide users with new or improved functionality. Normally, an app will prompt the user to install an update when one is available. However, due to an early certificate expiration, the Personify Health app is unable to automatically prompt users to install the latest update. Use of the outdated app may cause limited functionality and loss of data.

Personify Health is a voluntary and confidential program that helps employees become, or stay, engaged in personal health and wellness. Participants can earn points for participating in certain activities, tracking health and wellness progress, and completing certain medical, dental, and vision preventative treatments. Points convert to dollars for your Health Savings Account (for HSP/HSA plan members) or Personify Health Cash (for PPO plan members).
