Celebrating Excellence in Reliability: Mauser NASP receives eMaint’s Implementation of the Year Award

Michelle MachenOur Stories, Small Packaging

Mauser Packaging Solutions has been recognized with the 2026 Implementation of the Year Award at Fluke’s eMaint Xcelerate 26 Conference in Austin, Texas.

Mauser recently partnered with eMaint to transition all 17 NASP Plastics facilities to the eMaint X5 CMMS platform for eMaintenance management.

This achievement reflects strong collaboration, meticulous planning, and our ongoing commitment to enhancing reliability and maintenance systems to optimize resources and extend the life of our assets.

Reliability Engineer - Phillip Schupp attended the event and accepted the award on behalf of the Mauser team.

NASP Plastics began preparing for the transition to the eMaint X5 CMMS platform in 2024. Implementation started at the Engineering Tech Center Warehouse in January 2025, advancing to the and Newnan, GA facility in February, and continued across additional locations concluding in December at the Cidra, PR site.

Implementation at each facility involved migrating assets, spare parts, demand and preventative work order history, and scheduling data. The Reliability Implementation team also provided hands-on, onsite training to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.

eMaint is a cloud-based Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) designed to streamline maintenance operations, asset management, and preventive and predictive maintenance for organizations of all sizes.

Mauser uses CMMS platforms – like eMaint – to manage assets, manage corrective and preventative maintenance work, set schedules, plan labor hours, inventory spare parts and track maintenance KPI’s.

With the plastics rollout successfully completed, the next step is moving the metals operations forward. NASP Metals plants are still using an older version of eMaint with migration to eMaint X5 planned for the latter half of this year. The transition to eMaint X5 will bring all NASP facilities onto one unified CMMS platform supporting consistent asset management, maintenance processes, and KPI reporting.

The eMaint X5 CMMS platform is already enhancing daily operations across NASP Plastics facilities by streamlining work order management, improving visibility into maintenance schedules, and standardizing processes across all sites. With faster access to accurate asset data, clearer task prioritization, and a more user‑friendly system, teams can work more efficiently and stay ahead of potential issues. These improvements support reduced downtime, smoother equipment performance, and better coordination between maintenance and operations; helping employees focus more on meaningful work and less on system‑related tasks.

“The success of this endeavor was a true testament to the teamwork of the Operations and Engineering Groups working for the greater good of Mauser. A big thank‑you to everyone involved for making this implementation a success!”
