Merry and Safe Holidays Amid COVID-19

Michelle MachenOur Stories

COVID-19 continues to impact Mauser Packaging Solutions operations and employees. Beyond the economic impacts to supply chains, the pandemic continues to personal impact employees and their families. As we approach the height of the Christmas holiday season, we encourage employees to continue to take precautions and use discretion when participating in holiday activities.

Get vaccinated
Vaccination continues to be the most effective tool available to protecting yourself and your loved ones from COVID-19. Adults and children ages 5 and up should get a COVID-19. Visit vaccines.gov to find a North American vaccination location near you.

Stay home if you feel sick
While messaging about COVID-19 mitigation continues to shift as the pandemic continues to evolve, one message has remained constant—if you're feeling sick, stay home and consider getting a COVID-19 test.

Communicate
Communicate in advance with event hosts and potential guests about your COVID-19 ground rules and the precautions you are taking.

Wear a mask
Wear a cloth or surgical face mask over your mouth and nose when shopping or in other public indoor settings.

Wash your hands
We now know that the risk of becoming infected through contact with surfaces contaminated with SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) is generally low—however, it's not a bad idea use hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes when you cannot regularly wash your hands.

Choose activities with limited participants
Be mindful when choosing holiday activities in which to participate. Prioritize gatherings with small groups and outdoor activities.

The best gift you can give family and friends this holiday season is taking steps to protect yourself and your loved ones from illness.
